I Love Love Love all thing French!

Don't you?  The French seem so romantic.  Their countryside a dream.  Their architecture, their antiques, their manor houses to die for.  French Country is my favorite design style and I just cannot get enough.  Over the years, I have strayed from French Country briefly only to return to my first love.  I'm not sure what draws me.  The intricate carving, the beautiful patinas, and comfortable worn look of both textile and wood make French Country feel like an old friend.

Jeremiah 6:16 This is what YHVH says: “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths; ask where the good way is and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.

The ancient path that our Father is asking us to find, is oftentimes overlooked in modern theology.  Yet, our Father's word is perfect and eternal.  What He spoke to His children as He taught them His instructions is just as relevant today as it was 4000 years ago.  Following our Father's commands proves our love both to Him and to His children.  Just like an old comfortable chair that we tend to choose over the newly covered one, we need to take another look at scripture with fresh eyes.

1John 5:2 This is how we know that we love the children of God:by loving God and carrying out His commands. 3 In fact, this is love for God: to keep His commands. And His commands are not burdensome.
